Instead, signing up for the WZAPC is about winning some cash, prizes (and if nothing else, discount codes on some of the best brands in CrossFit).[/thrive_testimonial]
The International Online Qualifier begins on August 21. For the elite athletes, the goal is to qualify to compete at one of the Sanctionals participating in the IOQ. But that does not mean athletes who don’t have a shot at qualifying should not sign up. ChallengeMe has partnered with Wodapalooza to offer the WZA Online Prize Challenge (WZAPC).
The WZAPC is not about qualifying for a Sanctional. Instead, signing up for the WZAPC is about winning some cash, prizes (and if nothing else, discount codes on some of the best brands in CrossFit).
The WZAPC is a separate competition that will run in parallel to the Wodapalooza Online Qualifier. You can sign up for the WZAPC in conjunction with the Wodapalooza Online Qualifier or you can sign up for just the WZAPC. The cost is $10 to register as an individual and $40 for teams if signing up separately.
The WZAPC is the first online competition to reward more than just the top handful of athletes. The top 50 in every division will earn cold-hard cash and podium finishers will also get some really cool prize packs! The prizes will be announced closer to the start of the online qualifier, but we have heard Bear Komplex will be one of them…
The WZAPC is a progressive money pot, meaning that the more people that sign up, the bigger the prize purse. And if you are thinking you will not be competitive enough to get into the top 50 in your division, all is not lost. Everyone that signs up will walk away with a list of exclusive discounts from the WZAPC sponsors along with the chance to win prizes or a trip to Miami to watch the Wodapalooza CrossFit Festival in person.
